GET INVOLVED

Volunteer Opportunities

Volunteering is a great way to stay involved in the community, meet new people and learn different skills. Without the hard work and time of volunteers, The Learning Centre would not be half as successful as it currently is. Volunteers have contributed their time to us in many ways from attending board meetings to working one-to-one with adult learners.

There are a variety of ways that you can volunteer with us. We have modified a number of our volunteer positions so that they can be done in-person or remotely. Please read more about the available volunteer positions below.

We accept volunteer applications on a rolling basis. No prior experience is needed to volunteer with us. We train our volunteers in the necessary skills needed for the position and believe in creating an environment where everyone can learn safely. We welcome everyone to apply regardless of race, sexual orientation, gender and ability. We believe that there is strength in diversity.
